About Me
My old Couchsurfing account got deactivated, but it has been such a great journey to be hosted and host people in Europe and SE Asia. My old account: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/danamolzhigit?action=show&controller=user_profiles&utm_campaign=profile_share&utm_source=couchsurfing-ios.
I try to live by simple rules: Every living being wants to be happy, do progress, and be free from struggles, therefore it'd be good to strive to be compassionate towards oneself and other beings. That being said, I respect boundaries and rules of you/your house and will expect same from you.
I am a creatively driven biodesigner and amateur biologist who loves to solve problems related to sustainability and climate change.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have extensively travelled and have stayed with the CS community all around the world. It has fundamentally changed how I travel. Whenever, I am in Almaty, I tried to give back to the community by showing travellers around my city and be the point of contact in Central Asia (it can get tricky if you do not speak Kazakh or Russian). Through this community I met my good friend Tom with whom I am still close friend after 9 years of showing him around my hometown. I stayed with a Balinese family in Bali, in Rome we were hosted by a Vatican army lieutenant, in Hungary I got robbed and a wonderful host has helped me to get out of the situation. I am forever grateful.
I am excited to be hosted and once my living situation gets resolved - host travelers.
