About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to set up shop in a new city. I've fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to Scotland, but now I've got to find a job and friends and the likes!
ABOUT ME
I'm from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I've spent the past two years travelling on and off through Asia and South America, both of which were some of the best experiences of my life. I began travelling when I was 18 on a backpacking trip through Europe and had to press pause because I wanted to finish university before completely surrendering to my love of travel. After graduating, I packed my bags and set off without much of a plan other than to see as much as I can before I get tired!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that if you have a life full of laughter and people to share it with, you're probably going to be okay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Narrowly escaped the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador. I had been working at a hotel in Jipijapa, just an hour's drive from the epicenter of the quake. There was no real reason I left the farm two weeks earlier than planned: my gut was just telling me I needed to leave. As the feeling grew stronger, I decided to follow it. Three days after leaving the hotel early, the earthquake happened and I'd have been right in the middle of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about music and history, philosophy, travel, and so much more. I can teach basic French to anyone looking to learn and my trivia knowledge is on point.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always happy to cook a meal or help clean a room or two! Always happy to share a tea or a beer with anyone that I stay with.
