ABOUT ME

Passionate about travels, respectful of our environment, I like to discover the local heritage, taste any cooking, and especially the exchange of ideas, impressions with countries people I meet all along my travels.
Retired from december 2014, I decided to travel as long as possible, first in South America during 6 months then 3 months in Malaysia and Indonesia (Sulawezi) and I just come back from 10 fabulous months in East South Asia :-))
... but it's always a pleasure to see again my lovely Auvergne !!!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is so short, I will have not enough time to go round the world and visit each of his countries, so I have to enjoy quickly :-))

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With an other site, I have welcomed Istanbul family at home (3 persons !) during 5 days, and a young spanish teacher french woman, and have spent one week in family home in Alanya

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very good in India ! People are so friendly and smiling !!!

Mountain bike (VTT), walk (all out door sports in general), traditionnal dances, reading, museums, exhibitions, internet to learn more and more about every things, in France and abroad travels, cooking...

Music, Movies, and Books

Om Shanti Om movie, I belove :-), A suitable Boy, book from Wikram Seth, It was 0:05 in Bhopal movie, so poignant ! Bollywood movies music, Chinese bamboo flute I listen just last July in little village near Guilin (China), classical music as Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, operas...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sailed during 10 days with sea kayak along glaciers Alaska, among salmons, seals and whales ! We were only two people et absolutly alone in a splendid area, something like paradise !!!

From Couchsurfing, I am waiting a daily approach to learn more about customs, taste cooking if possible, teach some french cooking, exchange ideas...
