About Me

CURRENT MISSION

hasta la victoria siempre!

ABOUT ME

Soy Dita. Mucho gusto.

PHILOSOPHY

Geneen Roth says, "Awareness is learning to keep yourself company," and I agree. Sensory data provides the staff of life just as much as food, water, and that warm sunlight. I want to help other people, not hurt the environment too badly, talk so people will listen, listen so people will talk, and feel blessed and grateful every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a good guest and hopefully a good host. I like washing dishes, taking care of babies, bikes, and plants, going out or drinking at home, making dinners, and drinking coffee but not talking before drinking coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had couch surfers when I lived in a co-op in Michigan, but never ventured on my own.

Interests

bikes with gears, boats, vegetables, improving my grammar, ESL education, intersectional feminism, The Mountain Goats, anthropology, puns, lizards. mint tea, hot water bottles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So this one time we were in this cave in Ecuador and all the power went off where there were at least 300 tourists inside and we all had to swim through this lake that was at the bottom of the cave and the lake was almost full up with rubber boots that people had dropped and it was like there were these hollow rubber monsters down there, probably, touching your feet as you paddled in pitch black with only flashlights and people screaming.

On the other side of the cave there was a water slide.
