ABOUT ME

Hello!

My name is Dana, I'm a 21 year old graduate student getting my Master's in Literature from Goldsmiths University in London. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota, and lived there until I moved to a slightly bigger town for university.

My second year of university was spent studying English Literature at the University of Birmingham in England. This was my first time in Europe-- and I loved every minute of it! I got quite a bit of traveling in-- but then broke my leg in Greece and unfortunately had to return to the US, (where I have been patiently awaiting my return overseas!)

I love to snowboard! I grew up next to a ski resort, so I have been on a snowboard since I was about 12 years old. During the summers I love being at the family cabin and wakeboarding, jetskiing, boating, and spending time outside.

I moved to the UK because I want to explore the world. Once you're over here, its really easy to hop on a plane and explore different places.

I hope to travel anywhere and everywhere I can over the course of my time in Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed three times! Twice in Barcelona, and once in Berlin.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Books : Nature (Emerson), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Alchemist, The Time Traveler's Wife, Great Gatsby, Walden, any Shakespeare play.

Music : My music taste is really varied and I am always listening to new stuff. Right now I'm loving old school rap and hiphop.

Movies : Same as music. It really depends on what mood I am in. I will watch pretty much anything.

I guess the most amazing thing I have done would be packing up my belongings and moving to England-- on two separate occasions!
