Move to San Francisco!

ABOUT ME

Seasons Greetings. I am in the process of undertaking a huge move from PA to CA and I am entertaining the notion of couch surfing to help me get settled easily. Really, I am having a tough time securing a furnished sublet in San Francisco due to the fact that it is rather difficult to see an apartment when you are 3000 miles away from it.

So, I am starting to think that if I can couch surf for a very brief spell, I will more easily be able to tie down an apartment. But really, I hope that it does not come to that.

I am laid back, play guitar/keys/saxophone (am willing to trade musical lessons/songs for kindness :D) Really I aim to be as easy to get along with as possible. I love learning about people and understanding just a bit about how they got where they are.

Well, I am in a transitional period, so all I can hope of my participation at the moment would be due to the kindness of strangers. I love the idea, however, and I hope that when I am more settled in my life that I will be able to return the favor to kind travelers.

Anything by Philip K Dick, anything post-apocalyptic (books). Greyboy All-Stars, Galactic, Robert Walter, Classics (Zeppelin, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Allman Bros, etc)...but I can dig on anything.

Music is the reason I keep going in life and to have it bought in 27 countries, downloaded in 60 countries, and to just think that there are a few thousand people out there in the world who have heard my music just brings a silly grin to my face.
