I'm loving my current work on festivals and in a gallery. I'm expanding my skills into new technologies and love to continually learn.

ABOUT ME

I work full time in the Tassie arts industry running and working at festivals, working as a booking agent, DJ and gallery tech. I'm also a dad with a 16 year old daughter nearly 1/2 time. I like to keep busy and work where my passions lie, having fun is a big part of life too.

PHILOSOPHY

Eep! that's a lot to commit in a box. I do like, 'Do what thou will may it harm none' but it doesn't sum me up. I guess I'm still working on that one.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted over 70 in the last few years. I've got a big house and have hosted some amazing guests. I had my first surfing adventure in Holland which was buckets of fun. I'm keen to meet people and discover the wonders of their cultures. I've also taken bands on tour numerous times which has involved staying at other bands' houses, often on couches which has been great. I've had lots of bands stay at my house which has always been a joy and have started opening up my door to new comers, not necessarily musical which has been really fun too.

Music: World music is my great love, especially when married with some awesome beats to dance to. Definitely on the hunt to find new stuff always!

Books: anything by Robin Hobb, George RR Martin, Isaac Asimov, David Suzuki, David Holmgren etc.
