I like exploring, meeting new people, learning new things.
I love the cultural diversity of cities, but I also like taking excursions into nature as well.
I am driven to solve problems. I like a good challenge, and challenging convention.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've hosted a bunch and met some really cool and interesting people here.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music, I read the news a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snowboarding down BlackComb Glacier: After going up a gondola, two chair-lifts, a treacherous t-bar and an easy hike up a foot trail, strap in. The heavy fog makes it difficult to see five feet. The alternative is to walk down. So, drop into the abyss...
For the first few seconds, visibility is zero. You can feel the soft powder beneath your board, and you want to enjoy it, but you're still flying blind. As you speed down past the column of fog, this great expanse of billowy snow greets you.

I have a extra bike. An old Hercules 3 speed. Any surfer staying with me is welcome to use it. Also, there is a public bike share station a short walk from my place.
