ABOUT ME

I have lived all my life in Melbourne, Australia. I live in Brunswick with my partner and our playful cat Lou. I work as a GP. I love the outdoors, hiking, and camping. My favourite hiking experiences have been Wonder Pass in Banff, Clouds Rest in Yosemite, and Angel's Landing in Zion National Park.

Favourites are always hard to pick.

My favourite movie is Call me By Your Name.

The album I have listened to most over the last year is Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.

It's too hard to pick a favourite book, but the writers I have most enjoyed in the last year are Kazuo Ishiguro, Carson McCullers, and Isabel Allende.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

1. Sleeping outside in Utah, staring at the sky and seeing shooting stars streak across the sky.
2. Listening to Armenian folk songs played by a harpist and a violinist in a small church in Paris.
3. An amazing night in London where I played cricket with some strangers, was invited to dinner with a beautiful family and then ended up being mugged on the way home.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I work as a doctor. I can play the piano and noodle on the guitar and banjo. I can speak beginner's level French. Previously I have been an English and Maths tutor for high school students.

There are so many things I don't know about that I would love to learn from others, especially DIY stuff, bike maintenance, arts/crafts, French language.
