I’ve recently decided to leave behind the desk job and the dark winter months of England and solo travel SE Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia). Expecting roughly to be travelling December through May.

Whilst I recently left London after 6 years, I grew up between the US and the U.K., so apologies in advance for the funny accent.

Still pretty new to the Couchsurfing community, but I’m an avid traveler and would love to meet fellow travellers for a coffee, a drink, or to explore! I wouldn’t call myself a “foodie” per se, but I do love to eat, so let’s grab a bite!

Books: A Clockwork Orange, 1984, Animal Farm, Frankenstein (dystopian novels are a particular favorite!). Life of Pi, The Fault in Our Stars, Harry Potter series

Movies: 12 Angry Men, Lord of the Rings, anything Pixar, Home Alone 1/2, The Princess Bride, Marvel (pre-Endgame), Parasite

Hate to admit that my music taste is fairly basic, but mostly listen to pop music (although I enjoy a fairly broad range of music and love live music of any kind). I also have been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in both NYC and London and so I really enjoy musical theatre.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Earlier this year, I flew to Japan alone and did a 2 week solo trip exploring the bustling cities, trekking through the beautiful mountain villages, and more importantly sampling all the cuisine.

On a more local level, I’ve recently gotten back into hiking and finished a 75 mile loop around London.
