ABOUT ME

At the time of writing this I am a 24 year old father, tall, dark hair and blue eyes. My dress sense is perhaps slightly eccentric but I am calm, sensible and caring (that sounds like an advert in a singles column). I work out of an area called Epsom in Surrey (South England) as a Car Courier and have done so for nearly five years. This involves delivering cars all over the country to all manners of people, which is the most perfect job I could ever hope for. The money is not great but then again money is not something that appeals to me.

I have a HUGE interest in science, all of which has been learnt having left school. I went back to school when my daughter was a little older and completed qualifications in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

My typical night out is quiet with friends. I would rather talk than get too drunk to stand but I also get to gigs with a friends band whenever my schedule permits. That said when the mood takes me I know plenty of local and London bars and clubs and if things get a bit messy you’ll regret having to watch me dance.

I am always most critical of my own shortcomings but banging on about those wouldn't make a very interesting read so anything you want to know about me will always be answered honestly. It’s all I ask of other people and it’s the least I can do for you.

PHILOSOPHY

Be honest, care for others and treat everyone as a friend. Fuck me over and I have no more time for you. That isn't intended to scare anyone away, I have simply come to a point were I don't see why people that consistantly neglect others deserve the same courtesy as honest careing human beings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet people in and around London and am able to accommodate up to two people in the spare room in Wallington. I know the local area very well and I know London better than most. If you give me an idea of what it is you want from your trip I should be able to plan something you will enjoy. Week nights would be best as my daughter stays with me at the weekend but if I get to know you in the week there is no reason for you not to meet her. It is very important to me that Daisy not only knows the benefits of helping other people around her but also that people from all walks of life, all cultures, creeds and colours are REAL people too and aren’t to be looked down on because they appear immediately different.

I am a bit of science geek and although I only have A Levels (college, not university if that’s what you call college) in the sciences if you ask me about any scientific advancement I'll have enough of an idea to make a conversation out of it. I have a theoretical theoretical physics degree in that theoretically I know it all but my maths lets me down.

I spend time at gigs in London and know a number of good places to spend evenings. Working in London so long I also know most of the tourist attractions but I am more interested in introducing you to the people of London and our culture (if you can call it that).

I've had a kid at 19, I have had a number of abusive relationships, I have taken drugs and have drunk too much. I'm no saint but I've more than made up for my sins. I don't know what to put here but I doubt you'll find a more honest response. I don't consider myself an interesting person, nor do I consider myself special. I am happy to help others and love everybody around me. Anything you want to share with me I would find infinitely more interesting than the conclusions I have made regarding my own life.
