Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Rise above personal gratification, create meaningful relationships
ABOUT ME
Philosophically introspective, socially gregarious, with a fiendish sense of humor and a serious love of history, art, literature, and genealogy.
PHILOSOPHY
Live authentically, simply, with gratitude and compassion, but remember that your greatest duty should be living to your potential.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hoping to find new friends that will help keep my travels focused on experiences instead of housing budget.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just starting out, no experiences as of yet, hoping to change that in a major way this summer.
Interests
Professionally I'm a singer/actor who sings mostly classical/opera/operetta. I'm pretty interested in those things. I also play piano by ear pretty well, voracious reader (book a week when I'm not working a lot), fan of traditional/Ivy/preppy men's style (I have a lot of ties. No, really, a LOT.), and I'm a big fan of travel. Born Proper Philadelphian, raised in New England, live in New York. Forgive the cliche...but I'm looking forward to meeting new people!

Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught voice lessons in the past, always enjoy exposing people to new music and new talents they weren't aware they had. Also love discussing books with people, giving and receiving recommendations, mulling over content, finding new angles and hidden concepts.
