Overview
About Me
A Brit (from London, UK) currently studying in the USA with an added splash of travel 👌🏽
I'm doing a postgrad course at Northwestern University so for the next few months I'm based in Evanston, Illinois.
I'm new to Couchsurfing so seeing how it goes - a friend recommended the app to me and I thought, 'why not try something new?'
In my free time, I like to travel, internationally and locally. As a keen driver, with a need for speed, I love road trips too. I also love exploring places with history and culture. My fave places I have visited so far would be Japan, Sri Lanka and Berlin.
Other random facts:
I don't drink, I don't smoke, no drugs either, currently giving up meat so I would say I'm a pescetarian in the making, love cats, love kids and have an addiction to gelato.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking to travel and meet nice new peeps who can spare a couch here and there
Interests
Fitness, gym, travel, Origami, charity, social enterprise, volunteering
Music, Movies, and Books
I only read books recommend to me. At the moment I'm reading the biography of Steve Jobs - part of my course required readings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learned how to say the alphabet backwards in under 5 seconds (I'm working on getting over my fear of heights etc so that I can say something more exciting) but I have yet to meet someone who can say the alphabet backwards as quickly as I can...
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bit of French, tiny bit of Spanish and Urdu. I love to talk about most things, social enterprise and charity being my fave topics. I like learning about different cultures and traditions too (all part of trying to become more culturally aware)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My British accent 😉
