ABOUT ME

Hi,

We're two students studying at Auckland University in New Zealand. Here's a little bit about us:

Dani:

I am a 3rd medical student and loving what I do. I finished a degree in Biomedical sciences so should really be in 5th year!! I am 23 years old and have lived in Chile, Australia, England and now New Zealand. I was actually born in Chile and all my family is Chilean. I speak fluent Spanish even though I left Chile when I was 18 months old. From there I went to Australia where I lived most of my life. My parents, brother and I then moved to the UK where my parents and brother currently reside. I did my 6th form there but now am studying in New Zealand living with my boyfriend and friends whilst studying and trying to maintain a healthy fun life.

Jez:

I am a 23 year old 5th year architecture student. I grew up in a town of New Zealand called Papamoa (in the North island, about 3 hours from auckland) right by the beach with my mum and brother. My dad lives about a half an hour drive in the country, a place called Te Puke where I constantly visited during the weekend. Growing up by the beach, I learned how to surf and scuba dive both of which I try to keep up with. I enjoy taking out my dad's boat for some fishing and diving for crayfish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have only just joined couchsurfer but hope to participate by allowing people to surf on our couch so that more people who may not have been able to afford in the past can now.

We LOVE movies! Anything not hollywoodised! Really enjoy subtitled films because we love listening to other languages.

Music: Jez is a BIG fan of Dubstep, We both like electro but also some laid back music such as jazz, indie or some classic old tunes.
