I’m Daniel Alvarado, a 26-year-old from Colombia, passionate about photography, storytelling and filmmaking. I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and learning how people live, think, and create in different parts of the world.

I consider myself a calm, respectful, and curious person, always open to learning from others and sharing what I know. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and I’m currently learning English. Couchsurfing is an amazing way for me to practice languages while also making new friends.

I enjoy talking about art, music, gastronomy, and life experiences. I also love walking around cities, exploring local spots, and taking my camera out to capture everyday moments.

I’m here to meet locals, share cultures, and make new friends while traveling. Couchsurfing is a great way to practice languages, exchange ideas, and discover places through the eyes of the people who live there.

I like listening to Latin music, Brazilian sounds, indie, rap, and rock.
I enjoy movies with strong stories and visuals – especially independent films and documentaries.
For books, I go for travel, photography, and culture – anything that inspires new perspectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve had the chance to live incredible experiences through my work and travels: creating a visual project in La Guajira, and exploring cultures in Argentina and Brazil. Each of these journeys has taught me something new about people, nature, and the way we connect across borders.

I can teach Spanish, Portuguese, photography, and video production. If you have an idea you’d like to express through images, I’d be happy to help bring it to life. I also enjoy creating content for personal brands, projects, or businesses.

At the same time, I’m always open to learning from others, practicing languages, and sharing experiences that connect art, culture, and everyday life.
