Hello!

I am a traveller currently working as an airline analyst in Oslo, Norway. I grew up in Sweden and the United States, and am a true lover of the international life. I love expanding my cultural horizons, and find that Couchsurfing is great for this.

When I’m traveling, you’ll often find me wandering around cities, observing the world around me. I love seeing what daily life is like for people around the world, and I can have endless talks about how people in around the world live from day to day. Trying local food is important to me when traveling. Also, chances are good I will try to seek out the best coffee in town!

I am a huge aviation geek, and i usually enjoy the flight just as much as the destination! When I fly, I create YouTube videos documenting my flights (“dan.spotter” if you want to check them out).

- Backpacked around Japan and China for 5 weeks with nothing but a Samsonite laptop bag
- Studied abroad in South Korea
- Studied abroad in the Netherlands
- Used my new airline straff travel benefits to fly standby around Europe, 7 flights in 7 days!
- Bought frozen pizza for 370 Euros and got a free Business Class ticket across the Atlantic (ask me about it!)
