I am a musician, writer and environmentalist from the Appalachian mountains in Virginia. My wife and I travel every year - we love new experiences, meeting new people, and encountering new cultures and natural vistas. I love good beer, good whiskey, and good coffee, and I'm always happy to sit down and tell stories over a pint.

I'm happy to teach and share my experience in music with hosts and guests. I've been playing guitar for over ten years, and I also play bass, mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, percussion, ukulele, and double bass, as well as singing and writing songs.

My wife and I are in an Appalachian folk band called The Damn Four, and I love sharing the music of my region.
