ABOUT ME

I am a Chinese-American who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I currently study international relations at a university in Washington DC. This summer I am teaching English in rural Thailand and have decided to travel in the region. I do not have any solid goals or plans, but I do have three guiding principles: see, eat, and meet. I want to be able to absorb as much as I can from the area I am staying in, particularly from the perspective of locals. I am new to couchsurfing and traveling alone, but am hungry for new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short. Don't hold grudges. Stay true to yourself. Travel!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In the summer of 2012, I taught in China for two months. I did not have any teaching experience and they put me in front of about 40 students. After my program ended, I backpacked for two weeks in Northeast China. The experience was surreal!
