Absolute hate writing about myself, but more than happy to chat for hours over a beer or wine!

I started travelling/hauling Couchsurfing (with my now locked account) in 2013 when I was working in restaurants in London. Then I took a sabbatical a year later and have kinda been travelling since – though Portugal has now been my home for a few years.

I love to meet people and hear stories and learn about their culture. I’m now a travel writer, something which I credit to the kind and incredible people I’ve met on this journey around the world who have helped me on my way.

I’m really open minded, left politically, and have no time for judgement of others. Love a good night out as much as a whole day in a museum, and especially love those long late-night conversations that only travel seems to bring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to make connections, hangouts and attend metro events. I’m always happy to host when I’m home (which sadly isn’t that often) and it’s great to be honest if it aligns, but I seem CS as more of a way to connect than seek a bed. Generally, I’m not that likely to approach hosts but always appreciate an offer.
