To get the CS obvious out the way: I love to meet people and share stories and culture. I’ve been beyond lucky to have met so many incredible people since I took a ‘sabbatical’ year in 2014 which totally changed my life from working in hospitality to a life of travel. I now live in Portugal, a country I’ve visited and loved since I was 4 years old, but I’m often still on the road for work or just because – last year I spent 8 months travelling around Europe by train - from Faro to the Faroes and then back down to Morocco. Amazing trip.

I’m open minded, easy going and very left politically – I’ve no time for judgement of others and have strong beliefs. Love a good night out as much as a whole day in a museum, and especially love those long late-night conversations that only travel seems to bring. Also hate writing about myself…

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly to make connections, hangouts and attend meet ups and events. I’m always happy to host when I’m home (which sadly isn’t that often) but I personally use CS as more of a way to connect than seek a bed.
