I’ve hosted a lot of great people, but I’ve also had guests who expected a tour guide, babysitter, or someone to entertain them. That’s not what I offer.

I’m happy to host respectful, independent travellers who understand boundaries.

WHAT THIS IS (AND ISN’T)
This is a place to stay, not a guided experience.
If you’re looking for someone to bring you out, plan your trip, or be available all day — that’s a hotel + tour guide.
I’m friendly and helpful, but I live my own life.

ABOUT ME
I’m fairly quiet and independent.
I don’t drink, don’t go to pubs, and don’t party.

I enjoy:
Cooking
Walking / outdoors
Saunas / swimming
A quiet night in
I’m happy to share a meal if timing works (either you cook or I do).

MY LIFESTYLE
I work 9–5, so I’m not around during the day
I value my space and downtime
I won’t be going out or socialising late
If you’re looking for nightlife or company, I’m not the right host.

HOUSE RULES
Respect boundaries — no pressure to socialise
No smoking
No shoes in the house
Keep things clean and tidy
Be independent (transport, plans, getting home, etc.)

LATE NIGHTS & KEYS
I do not give out house keys, so plan your return time accordingly
The door is locked at night (10pm) — I won’t be waking up to let people in, and yes, 10 pm weekends, too.
If you plan to stay out late or party, this is not the right place for you.

IMPORTANT
I usually host 1–2 nights max
I often travel at short notice, so I confirm stays close to arrival
Repeat guests may get more flexibility
If you’re easily offended or expect a lot from your host, this won’t be a good fit.

LOCATION
Near Ballymun Library (Google Maps)
Direct bus from the airport (20 mins, €2.50)
24hr buses from city centre
Buses require exact fare in coins (no change given)
There’s not much happening locally you’ll need to head into the city.

FINAL NOTE

Couchsurfing isn’t a free holiday — it’s someone sharing their home.
