My name is Daniel and I'm 22 years old.

Currently I'm in Peru and I intend on going to Argentina and Chile very soon.

I love nature, hiking, playing sports and eating new foods. I hope to be able to meet many people on my journey and learn about the world and myself.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have been traveling for a few months (since may 2025) and have heard great things from friends who have been couchsurfing.

For me it's mostly about seeing the world from different points of view and being able to meet new people from all over.

Intereses

I’m someone who loves staying active, exploring the outdoors, and connecting with people. My biggest passion is hiking. It’s been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the youth movement "Sayarut", where I later became a counselor, guiding younger kids through the same path I took. I also spent two summers as a camper in an outdoors camp in the US, and recently I returned as a counselor, an experience that strengthened my love for mentoring and adventure.

Right after hiking comes bouldering. I am afraid of heights so for me it's a challenge for both my body and my mind. I parriculary enjoy the mix of focus, strength, and creativity it requires.

Volleyball is quite a recent one. I started playing with my friends last year, and it became one of my most expected activity of the week. I love the teamwork the game requires and the variety it offers.

In my downtime I watch movies or TV shows to unwind.

Música, películas y libros

I love listening to music! My favorite band is an Israeli hip hop band called "Hadag Nahash" (a play on words in Hebrew I would love to expand about). With that said, I also listen to rap and rock in English, Hebrew and Arabic. Sometimes I will put on some classical music to mix things up.

I am not the biggest bookworm, however I always enjoy a good dystopian future like 1984, A Brave New World, Dust and The Handmaid's Tale.

Also, I have read a couple of John Grisham's novels and found them very entertaining.

My favorite movies are the Star Wars franchise, the Indiana Jones movies, the Lord of the Rings trilogy and any good sci-fi or fantasy.

Between May and October 2025 I have been to 4 continents - Asia (middle east), Europe, North America and South America.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach phrases in hebrew including cultural innuendos. Also, I can give out pointers in hiking and climbing.

Recently, I picked up cooking, and would love to improve in that field, especially from different cultures around the world.

Movies, books, hikes and anything in between are all topics I would always enjoy sharing about.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I would love cooking for you my mom's bolognese sauce or making hot chocolate and to converse about life. If you happen to have a trombone I can play it.

To be honest I don't have much to offer other than to share my own experiences and my travel stories - which I'm more than glad too.
