I am from the suburbs of NYC originally. My girlfriend Anna is from Dallas. We both attend(ed) school in Syracuse, NY. I just graduated with a degree in environmental engineering, and Anna has a few years left as a dual Nutrition/Food Studies major. We have both developed a deep love for the outdoors through the SU Outing Club (SUOC), and are using the summer to embrace a shared desire for adventure!

We are on a National Parks tour! While traveling, we would enjoy the opportunity to meet and talk to new people while seeing new places.

With an extended cross-country trip being planned, Anna is in charge of writing an official blog for the Syracuse University Food studies department. Where possible, we hope to immerse ourselves in different areas to gain an understanding for farming practices, both urban and traditional, as well as get a feel for how food shapes culture within the United States.
