I’m Dan, a university professor and researcher based in Le Mans, France. I speak English and French natively – my mum is Irish and my father is French. I explore the world through travel, history books, films, and, most importantly, the people I meet along the way.

My ultimate goal is to visit every UNESCO World Heritage site in Europe and the Mediterranean. I love wandering through old towns, discovering local flavors, and looking out to sea—especially with good company. For me, travel isn’t just about checking off places; it’s about the unexpected conversations and meaningful connections that make each journey unique.
I’m easy-going, considerate, and generally very easy to get along with. I’m up for both interesting discussions and lighthearted fun. Looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and creating unforgettable memories!
