Hello world. I am a 22 year old person currently traveling in South America. I am from the United States, and grew up in Oregon. I just finished my 2 year degree studying sociology, and decided to take time off to see a new portion of this great continent. I have a passion for learning which keeps me on my feet. I am currently working towards learning Spanish after studying on and off. I am a fairly relaxed person and enjoy speaking with others sharing knowledge, ideas, and stories. Art is an important factor of my life, and I am in constant need of a creative outlet. At the moment, photography is my medium of choice. Being able to capture small moments which can stay with me longer than the memory in my mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not a fan of the world of hostels, and wish to spend my time in a new country meeting people from the area. Learning from local people, and having a more real experience.
