Overview
About Me
I'm an tech entrepreneur, exploring cities around the US as I'm thinking about how to improve transportation and create new connections.
I spend most of my time thinking about and working on technology to enable a more connected and open world.
I also enjoy kicking back and enjoying a good meal, visiting new places around the world, and playing/watching/talking about most sports.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am bootstrapping (funding) my own start-up venture and looking for an affordable way of traveling as I visit different cities across the US. My current family situation with young kids is not great to to host, but would be happy to host in the future when I get a bigger place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Quiet music, country, anything that doesn't keep me awake at night.
Sorry, not a huge movie person; I like movies that feel real
I mostly read internet blogs and news sites like Hacker News, Techcrunch, WSJ, Business Insider, etc... Also have read many books on startups.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped an African mining company save >$10 million, spending several months traveling to remote sites in Ghana and Zambia. Most importantly, I taught people how to use technology and manage a business.
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to share business and start-up experience and advice.
I'm not as well rounded as many on here, so I'd like to become more well rounded and learn from you all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect, open discussion, food and drinks, school advice, business advice, life advice... I'm a pretty open person with strangers.
