Présentation
À propos de moi
We are a fun-loving father and daughter duo living together in Manhattan, New York City. Dad (Dan) works as an international public health guy with a focus on HIV/AIDS, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean, and as an artist in the performing arts. Daughter (Tazca) is working on various things, including flute and piano, singing and song writing, her cartwheel, and not missing the bus to school.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
We are curious people who enjoy learning from others and being welcomed into new countries, cultures, and homes. Friends and family from all over the world have stayed in our home, and we've always appreciated the kindness of strangers on our own adventures.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
If you'll pardon the cliché, we are both students and learning our way.
We'd be delighted to learn about your food, language, family, city, politics, music, dance, visual arts, theater arts, and how best to get to the next place we are headed when the time comes.
Daughter can teach flute, English, Spanish, Peruvian dance, clowning, and how to do a decent cartwheel.
Dad can teach woodworking, theater arts, how to fix most anything, how to drive most things with wheels, and will wax lyrical on family planning methods, how to avoid STIs, and prevention, care and treatment for HIV/AIDS for those interested.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
Dad and daughter both have a penchant for cleanliness and order, neither of us smokes, and we prefer to leave a place looking better than when we arrived (old scouts' rule).
We hope to share some good energy and love of life.
