I'm an 18 year old looking to get out of the city where I've spent most of my life and explore the wider world. I decided to try out couch surfing because of a desire to really meet new people and dig deeper into the places where I travel than simply staying in youth hostels would allow me to do.

I have a wide range of interests: first and foremost I am an enthusiastic musician, enjoying everything from folk, rock and electronica through to jazz and metal. Other interests include art, philosophy - I love engaging in deep discussions about various philosophical and psychological issues - and history. Finally, I have a deep love for nature and any activity which will allow me to engage with it, be it hiking, gardening, eco-building, or climbing trees.

I will probably be travelling together with a friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and make friends at a deeper level than tends to happen when just staying in youth hostels. I also want to learn more about the places I'm staying in from actual locals. Also, I lack the money to stay in youth hostels anyway.
