I currently work in the live entertainment industry as a Special FX/Pyro Tech. I’ve had this job for more than 5 years and have had the opportunity to travel through most of the US and parts of Canada with my work. Traveling has always been important to me, I really enjoy experiencing new places for the first time and have been blessed to have a job that pays for that experience. I really like meeting new people and learning about them but I find that I’m not very good at it haha, but it is something I’m working to get better at as I believe that hearing each others stories is one of the greatest gifts this world can give us.

—Music—
I love discovering new music and try to have an open ear to all types. Lately I’ve been heavy on a mix of r&b, soul, and jazz. I enjoy just about every genre in some capacity. I’d love to hear about your latest favorite artist or songs!

—Movies—
I like the classics like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings and most action/adventure movies. I’m a big fan of Wes Anderson, I haven’t seen a movie of his I didn’t absolutely love—from storytelling to cinematography to casts, he’s superb! I love a good western, I prefer the more recent ones from the last 20-30 years but appreciate the oldies as well. Like Comedies, been watching stand up more recently—Demetri Martin is one of my favorites. Some of my top movies are Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Super Troopers, and Into the Wild. Love finding great classic movies I haven’t seen before.

—Books—
I’ve always liked a good mystery books since I was a kid reading the Boxcar Children and Sugar Creek Gang. I really enjoy reading self help books whether it be in business or personal affairs. A couple of my recent favorite books have been Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and The Alchemist.

Well I wouldn’t consider myself a handyman as I’m not quite that handy but I’d love to help you out with a project or anything you might need an extra hand with. I’m quick to learn, typically just need to be shown something once and I got it. I’m tall too (6’4”) so I can get what’s in those high spots you may have trouble reaching ;). I love being able to help others no matter how big or small the task, don’t be afraid to ask!
