Hey there! 👋

I’m an active person who’s happiest outdoors — climbing, white water kayaking, hiking, or doing pretty much anything surrounded by nature. I used to work in IT, but recently decided to trade in the screen for soil and sunlight. These days, I’m looking for gardening and farm jobs where I can move, work with my hands, and give my mind a bit of a rest.

My favourite way to travel is by meeting locals and seeing a place through their eyes — it’s always a completely different experience. I love to cook, especially after exploring local markets and finding fresh ingredients to turn into a spontaneous recipe. When things slow down, I enjoy a good board game and relaxed conversations.

At home we have dogs, so spending a lot of time with them is something I like a lot. Meeting others always helps me reflect on my own values and how I see the world which is a great treasure for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess pretty much what I mentioned in the "about me" section. Meeting foreign people shaped me a lot in the past and I love to keep up doing it. Understanding values of someone with a very different background can be super amazing.
