I'm a fan of music with messages that span many genres, including but not limited to salsa, bachata, hip hop, R&B, reggae and rock.

Some of my favorite movies are Gladiator, Snatch, Good Will Hunting and Nacho Libre.

My book interests are plenty but recently I've read Chimimanda Ngozi Adichie, Juan Flores (RIP), bell hooks and Robert Heinlein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As an international act of solidarity with communities affected by police brutality in the United States, I planned and completed a 37km #BLACKLIVESMATTER walk through every neighborhood in Rabat in December 2014. One of the pictures is on my profile!
