Overview
About Me
I’m an enthusiastic traveler and tech-lover who believes the best way to discover a new place is through its people. After working as a hostel receptionist in Cartagena, Colombia, I learned a lot about hospitality and the importance of creating a welcoming environment. I’m into trekking, running, and I’m always up for a ping-pong match! I’ve explored several corners of Latin America—from the vibrant streets of Rio to the breathtaking Foz do Iguaçu—and I'm currently preparing for my next big adventures in Europe and Southeast Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that people are the soul of any destination. After working in the travel industry, I realized that the most memorable moments come from shared meals and late-night conversations. I'm here to build genuine connections and see the world through the eyes of locals."

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a big fan of Colombian literature, especially the works of Gabriel García Márquez; his storytelling is a huge inspiration to me. I also spend a lot of time reading about geography and history to better understand the places I visit. Beyond that, I love diving into philosophy, as it helps me reflect on life and the different perspectives I encounter while traveling the world."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most life-changing things I've done was leaving my old life behind to start traveling the world. While exploring Mexico, I had the incredible chance to connect deeply with the local culture. A Mexican family actually invited me to stay with them for a week! They ran a traditional tamales business, so I jumped right in to help them prepare and sell them. It wasn't just about the food; it was about becoming part of their daily life and learning the true meaning of 'mi casa es su casa
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook authentic Colombian dishes or share some tips on how to manage and maintain a hostel. If you're interested in practicing your Spanish, I’m happy to help with conversation and local slang!
I’m eager to learn about your local culture, traditional recipes from your region, and any hidden gems in your city that aren't in the guidebooks. I also love hearing different life philosophies and travel stories.
I can share plenty of stories from my travels through Latin America, especially my experience living with a family in Mexico. I also offer a great sense of humor, a helping hand with house chores, and a competitive but fun game of table tennis
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a great cook and I love sharing my culture through food; I’d be happy to prepare some traditional dishes for you! Having worked in a hostel, I am very proactive and tidy. I can help with cleaning, general maintenance, or any chores around the house. I’m always down for a good conversation, sharing travel tips, or simply hanging out and helping with whatever you need.
