I am an extroverted individual who really loves meeting new people and going to new places. Originally from Connecticut, I moved to New Hampshire for high school and then Oregon for College. I am currently a junior studying English Literature at Reed College. I'm extremely clean, hygienic, and neat, especially when I am someone's guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This past summer I was working at an airfreight forwarding company in Portland, and I realized about halfway through the summer that I really need to travel more. I want to see new places, meet new people, and try new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite author is John Steinbeck. Choosing favorite music and movies is hard, because I have many favorites. My top seven artists at the moment (I go through phases) are: Lusine, ODESZA, Galantis, Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, Tally Hall, and the Postal Service. I don't even know where to begin with my favorite movies, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

> I drove across the United States on my way out to college (New Hampshire to Oregon).

> Met the guy who invented crash barrels (the orange cylinders filled with sand/water)

Let's talk about science and history and gender and really anything and everything (except philosophy, if I'm honest).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you about plants and fruit and/or broader biological things. I am president of a fruit club and a horticultural society at my college, both of which I founded. I can also buy you some drinks.

Also, I've a voice actor and I'd love to share some of my impressions with you and your friends. I'm a little rusty, but I usually slip right back when I'm tipsy.
