Christopher and I live in San Francisco, California. Christopher is the Communications Director for an LGBTQ non-profit organization and I work for a small translation company as a Senior Localization Project Manager. Christopher has never been to Europe and we're planning a trip for late April into early May. I lived in Europe in 2013 (autumn/winter), 2015 (summer), and 2016-2017 (full school year). I've lived mostly in Paris and Montpellier, France, with a short academic program in Alicante, Spain in 2015. I used to teach English in Montpellier to primary age students. I also tutor part-time teaching Spanish and French. We are both easy-going and love to explore new places/ try new foods/ meet new people! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are planning a trip to Europe in April/May 2023 and would love to meet new people in new cities! We are also interested in staying with a local while we travel through: Barcelona, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stockholm.

I was a paid extra in a Jack Gyllenhaal/Antoine Fuqua movie (Southpaw, 2015)
Christopher was a leader for LGBTQ rights in his home state of Florida in the early 2000s, when Florida still had some of the most anti-LGBTQ laws in the U.S.

Teach, Learn, Share

I tutor students in Spanish and French. I'm learning Mandarin (Simplified) Chinese. Christopher is learning Spanish (with my help, haha).

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love meeting new people over a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would love to take our hosts out to dinner / to a wine bar and learn more about their beautiful city! We love getting to know new people and places.
