Hi, I’m Daniel from South Africa. I am an educator, entrepreneur, and Ultimate Frisbee coach. I work with teens to help them build future-ready skills and start small businesses. The ultimate goal is for them to discover what they’re passionate about and have skills to do something about it.

I love meeting people from different walks of life and learning how others see the world.

My wife, Jessica, and I live in Misty Hilton, KZN, with our two cats, Penne and Tortellini. Jessica is an artist painting mostly in watercolour and gouache.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travel is about connection and learning, not destinations. I love the idea of exchanging culture, stories, and perspective, and would much rather learn from locals than follow tourist maps.

Whether hosting or surfing, I’m here to meet great people and leave places better than I found them.
