ABOUT ME

Sometimes I travel sometimes I work other times I just hangout with family and friends. Mostly of the time you will find me smiling and laughing. I find the best is basically everything. I like to cook and explore by foot. Rafting rivers is my passion I guess you could say. Spending time in front of a computer filling out things like this is not my cup of tea. That is partly the reason I take so long to update my profile and still end up writing very little. I can sleep most places and tend not to be of a picky nature especially when I am traveling. Just so happens that is most of the time. Currently I am looking for something new and interesting to wrap my brain and body around. New Hobby ideas?

I put some dates in here because I just realized some of the info on here was out of date by like 2 years.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel around sharing my stories with people I met.

So far all I have done is surfed on others couches. I do not spend much time in one place so it has been had for me to host anyone yet I would really like too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a limited amount of surfing throughout the time I have been a part of this site/community. Most of my surfing trips have been with friends or family. Everyone I have met has been awesome and a joy to be around.

One host who will be missed is my host from Switzerland, Nico. He was a great guy but seems to no longer have a profile on here :(

Playgrounds, Beaches, Walking around cities, Cooking, Whitewater Rafting, camping, exploring, movies, talking, going someplace enjoyable. Seeing the world through travel and by going nowhere.

Love movies. Boondock Saints = best movie ever. Princess Bride and Legends of the Fall come right after. I love the interactions in Empire records. I could go on and on about movies but I got the ones that really matter. Favorite movies of 2017: Arrival, Deadpool, Rogue One and Zootopia

Not really into TV series. However I love the Avatar series, Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra is great too. Following the Marvel shows on Netflix favorite is Jessica Jones and season 2 Daredevil was cool too. Recently watched Westworld. Since I watched it all in one go and I watch that sort of stuff often I think I was less impressed. It was cool but I was thinking it would be more by what other people said.

Regina Spektor is all I really need. Cloud Cult and Andrew Bird add to the enjoyment.

I really do not read that much.
Favorite books: The Tao of Pooh, Stranger in a Strange Land and Shogun helped shape my way of thinking.
Dune is my favorite series, I read all the books old and new. Other series: Harry Potter, End Game. There is a kind of love/hate with A Song of Ice and Fire if you read them you know what I am talking about.

The Star Wars universe rocks. Until recently I never read the books. With the Clone Wars show and now Rebels plus reboot of canon story, I started reading the canon comics and books. I do often collect knowledge from Wookieepedia too.

I rarely play videogames these days but I still keep up with my adventure buddy Link in the Legend of Zelda.

Comic books rock however I have only read a few.
