i'm a guy from northern England who's moved to Canada to live a life in the mountains in Whistler, BC. i love skiing and work as a ski instructor in the winter and its the best job I've ever had, if you stay in the winter i would definitely like to go up the mountain for a ski! in the summer i have been working as a chef in an Italian restaurant and can cook up some nice pasta for whoever lets me stop on their couch. i have lived in a small village near Manchester in England where there is really not much happening until i was 18 and then went and worked a ski season as a chalet host in Tignes, France, spending the winter skiing, cooking and cleaning toilets in a chalet for 24 people. went home and worked in demolition for a summer and then went travelling to Vietnam and Thailand before coming to Canada and living in whistler. i really enjoy living here with so many things to do in the summer and unbelievable skiing in the winter right on the doorstep.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and heard about the couchsurfing website through my girlfriend who has used it travelling all over the world in New Zealand, Australia and Europe. i love the idea of helping travelers from all over the world feel at home wherever they are and have a great time meeting new people in a new place!
