Overview
About Me
I’m a USMC Veteran, Wildland Firefighter/EMT. I’m an active disaster relief volunteer with Team Rubicon and an active member of my neighborhood emergency response team. I’m a former volunteer with search and rescue.
I tend to be a little quite as first- but like to be a goofball. Love adrenaline activating activities, whiskey and karaoke.
I’m currently taking prerequisites for Nursing/Paramedic. I’m undecided on which one to major in. I have one adult daughter, a chihuahua, and a cat. My cat is bigger than my dog!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people from all walks of life and experience some of their culture. To get local tips for attractions and to show my guests the same. I also think this a great way to travel as the biggest cost can be your accommodations, it allows the freedom for longer travels. I look forward to hosting when I return home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was a volunteer structural Firefighter I helped a lady off the floor that actually said “ help I’ve fallen and can’t get up!” She was joking- but also wasn’t. 😂
