I live in a 2 story townhouse on the north side of Melbourne, FL near Suntree. I regularly travel around Florida, from Tampa, to Orlando, down to South Florida. I've recently started traveling out of state more frequently, and even added a couple international destinations this past year.

A buddy just told me about this site and it looks like it'd be a neat way to meet some cool people. I'm part of a pretty fun international running group (HHH) that many people are aware of. It's given me lots of opportunities to meet other people and do a fair amount of couch surfing, so I'm not new to the concept!

I work as an engineer for a small R&D firm, doing mostly mechanically engineering type tasks. I have a bachelors in Physics, a Masters in Engineering, and am attempting to complete a PhD - currently all but dissertation.

Movies: generally action. not a big movie goer.

Books: Fantasy/Sci-fi. RJ's Wheel of Time, anything by Asimov, various other high fantasy series

Snowboarding in the middle of the summer, while maybe not all that exciting to most, was amazing to me being a born and raised Floridian.

An air mattress in the office or a pullout couch downstairs in the living room, an inquisitive mind, good conversation, and suggestions on where to go in the greater Florida area. I'll likely also try to get you out with my local beer drinking running group if you're game!
