ABOUT ME
Hi Everyone, I'm Daniel. After five long years of studying in Dresden and Leipzig I completed my degree in aerospace engineering. Now I am ready for adventures. I consider myself relaxed and calm, at the same time I am a bit restless, can't just stay at home and do nothing for more than a week.
I care about social justice, environmental protection, people in general. I volunteer for Amnesty International and the student exchange group IAESTE.
It makes me feel more comfortable to possess only a few things. I love reading smart literature, walking barefoot and windy days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The world would be a nicer place if there was more trust between people. Offering a couch to someone, hanging out for a bit would be a step in a the right direction.
Besides that, hostels tell the same story again and again. In my opinion, travelling with couchsurfing is so much more satisfying, exciting and fascinating.
I've both hosted and surfed and I only made great experiences.
Interests
I like modern popular arts, graphic design and extraordinary creative concepts and approaches in general. I also sketch and paint myself sometimes.
I spend a lot of time discovering and listening to music. I would probably consider politics and debating about it as one of my interests as well.
Also, I'm a big fan of mad conspiracy theories and I could educate you a bit about it, if you like. ;)

Teach, Learn, Share
Have you ever wondered why the international space station doesn't catapult into space allthough there is apparently zero gravity? I can help you to get started. For the last year I've been working for a atmospheric research institute. I can explain you how to create an artifical cloud in the lab.
If that's too technical, I can teach you some German, playing the drums and some skateboarding tricks.
I'm currently trying to learn french and highly appreciate any help. :)
