I’ve grown up in a multicultural family which has provided me with numerous advantages and a different perspective of life. My mother is American and my father Colombian. I was born and raised in Colombia, but each year my family and I go to visit my grandparents in Florida. I am very diverse due to my family being from different nations. Some of them include Japan, Argentina, Italy, France, and Iran. All of these features have given me strong character and a mature perspective on how to view the world.

I just completed my high school year, I know that I am still young to the world and I have a lot to explore. I want to study Journalism and I really love photography, hopefully I can find a shooting buddy. I have until January 2013 to go out and see what’s really out there.

I want to make this brief but interesting so bear with me. I won’t talk much about myself, because if you really want to know me, we have to hang out. I believe I’m an easy going guy who likes to talk and find out about people’s story. I am friendly and enjoy meeting new people, drinking beers and having fun. I am a person who’s not complicated, and I enjoy a good laugh with people. I like to travel, although I haven’t been to many places outside of Colombia or the United States. I am bilingual and speak both languages fluently. I can translate, and teach whoever wants to learn Spanish. I want to travel and meet new people, so hopefully this can work out. That’s enough about me, hopefully I can meet you fellow Couch Surfer.

Yo nací en una familia multicultural lo cual me ha dado numerosas ventajas y una forma diferente de ver la vida. Mi madre es Norte Americana y mi padre es colombiano. Nací y crecí en Colombia, pero todos los años voy con mi familia a visitar a mis abuelos en Florida. Soy muy diverso debido a que tengo familiares de varias naciones. Algunas incluyen Japón, Argentina, Italia, Francia e Irán. Todas Estas características me han dado una perspectiva madura de como ver al mundo.

Acabe de terminar el bachillerato, yo entiendo que aun soy joven ante el mundo y tengo varias cosas que explorar. Quiero estudiar periodismo y también me gusta mucho la fotografía. Probablemente encuentre a alguien con quien pueda salir a tomar fotos. Tengo hasta Enero del 2013 para ver que hay en el mundo.

Quiero escribir esto de una forma breve pero interesante. No quiero hablar así demasiado sobre mí, porque si verdaderamente me quieren conocer hay que salir. Yo creo que soy una persona relajada, me gusta conversar con la gente y averiguar su historia. Soy amigable, me gusta conocer gente nueva, tomar cervezas y disfrutar los buenos momentos. Soy alguien que no se complica sobre las cosas, y disfruto una buena carcajada con la gente. Me gusta viajar, pero no eh podido ir a varias partes aparte de Colombia o Estados Unidos. Soy Bilingüe y puedo hablar los dos idiomas con fluidez. Puedo traducir y enseñar inglés o español al que quiera. Me encantaría viajar y conocer gente nueva, esperemos que esto pueda servir. Bueno eso es todo, ojala pueda conocerlos Couch Surfers.

PHILOSOPHY

I am still looking for a philosophy to live by. I am still young to the world and for now I am still finding my role in the world. For now I will keep on searching

I am currently new to Couch Surfing. I was introduced by my social studies teacher, and here I am finding a way in which I can Participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I haven't had any experience with Couch surfing but I will find out.

Por ahora no he tenido ninguna experiencia con CS pero ojala podre tener una.

Interests

One of my major interests is photography, I am still learning, but at least I can handle manual mode. I really like cars and it would be cool to have a conversation with someone who knows a whole lot about them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many movies with different type of genres. The type of movies that I really like are the ones that blow your mind like Clockwork Orange or pulp fiction.

With music I ride a type of roller coaster. Right now I'm into indie, but the I want to listen to some electronic, or some salsa. I go all over the map with music. I'd say my favorite band of all times is The Doors.

Sadly I'm not much of a person who reads in my spare time. I enjoy titles like "El perfume" or "To Kill a Mockingbrid." The problem is once I start a book, I never finish it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hiked this mountain in a town called Berlin in Santander, Colombia. It was an awesome experience, and getting to the top was hard because the air was thin, so it was difficult to breath.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sure why not! I can teach you how to use a Camera(Dslr). I have some cool dance moves, if you're up for dancing. I can teach some English and Spanish, and that's about it.
