I am full-time traveller and freelance graphic designer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I would describe myself as calm, kind and contemplative person, who loves to get himself busy, love to work with hands and to learn by doing. I have a bright, innovative mind and can explore almost any kind of knowledge if there is enough time. I never finished any university and never had any formal education in my profession. Everything I know I learned by research and by real work experience. I fell a strong connection with maker’s community, not so long ago I have builded my own 3d printer and had a lot of fun with it. Technology was always something I handle naturally.
I love being in nature. I like to stay in rural areas and to spend my time outdoors. We have a mutual love and trust with animals. I am a good listener and sometimes a storyteller. I love to share stories about my experience and the wisdom I gained from it.
I am interested in learning everything connected with sustainable ways of living, building, crafts, gardening, etc. I'm looking forward to spend more time with animals and learn how to take care of them.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It started around 10 years ago while my first era of travelling. I was interested in meeting local people from the places I was visiting. I stayed with a great hosts both in Europe and in South East Asia. Most of the times I met great people thanks to that.
Now the style of my traveling changed and I suppose the purpose of Couchsurfing community is also changed for me. I am focused more on people than on locations, and search for knowledge and experience rather than for a couch.
I am not sure what happened after the website redesign, but I am no longer to see any references made before.

I am also into sailing, hiking and slackline. I like all sorts of games, I am good in Backgammon and novice in Go.
