My mission is to travel this world of ours and experience places, people, food and life.

ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed, passionate guy whole loves life and enjoys learning new things and helpings others. I have an immense curiosity for cultures and languages. Photography is a passion of mine, alongside literature and Film making. These are art forms that convey powerful messages and evoke emotions. What is unique about photography is its ability to attract people from all sorts of places. It is visual. It is universal. It is something that anyone from this world can see, and perhaps relate to. A picture can transport you to a place you've never been to. To a past memory, or to the future. If any photograph of mine is able to impress and influence you in a positive way, then I have done my job. But I dont want to take credit for what the world and mother nature has to offer, I am merely the beholder.

PHILOSOPHY
And we are responsible. Don’t fool yourself by saying, “What can I do? What can I, an individual, living a shoddy little life, with all its confusion and ignorance, what can I do?” Ignorance exists only when you don’t know yourself. Self-knowing is wisdom. You may be ignorant of all the books in the world (and I hope you are), of all the latest theories, but that is not ignorance. Not knowing oneself deeply, profoundly, is ignorance; and you cannot know yourself if you cannot look at yourself, see yourself actually as you are, without any distortion, without any wish to change."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience the diversity of the world and smile at the subtle little things that unites us all. I like to help those around me and make myself useful
by participating in whatever is needed. I like to learn new recipes for cooking so I enjoy helping at the kitchen, chores etc etc.

I am a Lord of the Rings freak. The movies inspired me to want to be a film director. I love literature, I read all types of books, from the classics to the modern. Siddharta, Herman Hesse, Tolstoy, Rumi... I listen to all types of music. Right now im really into classic rock. Beatles, Led Zep etc.
