ABOUT ME

Clare and I are Aussie backpackers. We have travelled around Asia and now have given ourselves 1 year to explore the beautiful continent, Europe.

We are multicultural people and love meeting new people and learning about the different cultures in our massive world.
We are both kind and caring people. We have met so many new friends on our journey who have opened up their heart and home to us. We both hope that you will become a new friend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We did some couch surfing in Germany and London which was awesome. This includes, Kassel, Hannover, Munich and Oval (London).

Books - Sherlock Holmes is a must. Thriller, comedy, science.

Movies - All types of cinema from art house to mainstream. Also love the theater.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Driven on the Autobahn in Germany - WOW (when comparing to Australia)
- Partied on a shopping store rooftop in Frankfurt (for a new store opening)
- Pub crawls (always fun)
- Trained and taught Self-Defence on a German farm
- Met a fellow aussie Opera singer at Starbucks who got us tickets to his show and backstage passes to meet the cast of Jekyll and Hyde.
- Celebrated the May Tree Festival in Bavaria.
- Stayed in a 1800's London apartment and looked after the owners animals while they were away.
- Dog sledding, snowmobiling and snow ball fights in Kiruna.
- Mind Quest in Budapest (defused the bomb with no causalities ;))
- Swam in Lake Bled, Slovenia.

Teach, Learn, Share

We have met people from the somber to the eccentric. In each case we have learned a lot from all. Daniel loves to teach Science or Martial Arts, whilst Clare loves cooking.
