These days my life is totally different from the one I used to have, when I travelled extensively, more or less as a way of life. Travelling has given me amazing experiences, the chance to grow as a person through encounters with beautiful people from around the world. After a good 10 years of living on the road I hit a huge reset button on my life, and I settled down and found my place in my hometown in Pécs, Hungary. Currently I work as a social worker with homeless people, and I absolutely love my job, which has become more like a passion than just a job to be able to pay the bills. Although I don't travel as much as I used to, time and time again I like to challenge myself and try myself to find out how much there still is in me of the spontaneous, adventurous self.I always found it the best way to travel and get to know the local culture is to meet the locals, talk to everyone and I'm always blown away by the fact how much we do have in common despite the surface differences. For me couchsurfing offers that kind of connection with another human being, where we are both open to learn and accept the other person as they are.

Unfortunetely I don't have a place of my own, so I'm not able to host anyone in my rented home, but more than happy to meet up with anyone coming around Pécs.
