ABOUT ME
I'd like to think of myself as being very socially and culturally aware. In other words, clearheaded. That is not to say however that I'm at all boring or mundane. I enjoy (most) all that is abnormal and/or thought provoking. I try to add some sort of 'flare' to everything I do, usually taking the form of fashionably short shorts or an occasional impromptu dance session. I look for opportunities to be active and physical; I'm always in a good mood as long as I'm moving! As far as humor is concerned, I like the subtle and dry. I'm attracted to the witty.
Interests
I have a strong desire to hear other people's ideas and to further develop my own. As a result, I feel most fulfilled after reasonably long conversations on topics such as... What is the best way to live? What is success? How can one best achieve happiness?
For me, physical activity is a must. I try to exercise -- run, bike, lift -- in some capacity every day. I've always enjoyed participating in competitive sports and trying new ones.
I like the idea of being well-read, and as a result I force my way through arduous classics. However, I find it much easier to watch a funny or thought provoking movie. Watching obscure movies is my favorite study-procrastination method.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not easily awestruck, but just recently two things left me beyond words.
First: Watching the sunrise over a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Seeing everywhere -- downtown, the old city, the near West Bank -- illuminated in the first moments of the day was an experience I won't forget.
Second: My friend and I were stranded in Munster, Germany after a train connection was sold-out. The Manager and Bartender at an upscale hotel, at which we were not staying, let us sleep in the restaurant for free. I was lost for words with gratitude. Their generosity and trust were truly amazing.
