About Me

Proud Canadian.

Stoked to be living a fortunate life and looking to learn more everyday!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Landmarks and landscapes draw you to certain countries but they don't always offer the full experience. I think most people's best travel memories is when they met locals and did something adventurous.

I'm looking to Couchsurf to connect with people from all over the world. Learn about a place in a different light and meet awesome people along the way.

Though I haven't been able to host Couchsurfers too much myself due to my different living situations I find myself constantly being a tour guide when ever I meet someone new to town or if a friend visits.

I am naturally drawn to the idea of couch surfing and am looking to invest more in the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Ahhh I like a lot of different music. From trappy pop (big Carly Rae Jepsen fan) to classics like Fleetwood Mac. If I can sing and dance to it, it's all good

Movies: Not big on movies, I tend to fall asleep watching them, but can be found binge watching tv shows sometimes.

Books: Hmm I'll work backwards here. Prefer non-fiction to fiction. Chances are I'll find a book I want to read in the 971 classification of the Dewey Decimal System (Canadian History). I am a big fan of Pierre Berton and two of my favourites are Vimy and Why We Act Like Canadians.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got to be part of the 90th anniversary ceremonies commemorating the Battle of Vimy Ridge. One of the biggest moments in Canadian history. Planted quite the seed in me. All the fortunate things I've been able to be a part of are rooted in this.

Headed back for the 100th anniversary in April 2017, can't wait!!
