I'm a 34 years old woman from Veracruz, México. I grew up in a coast city and moved about 12 years ago to the caothic capital Mexico city. I'm working as an office manager in an American company, which gets boring sometimes. On my free time I love playing videogames, going to concerts, I go to a loot of concerts and also go to the football stadium to watch my team America. I've been learning to play the drums for the past 2 years and I hope I get to be on a band or at least find people just to play songs we like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here beacuse I've always try to connect with people from other countries rather than just consuming the touristic experience without getting the feeling that there was a bit of cultural exchange both ways. 15 years ago I did backpacking by myself, and it was easier to talk to people. Now that I'm older, I feel like I need a place to find people who is willing to meet new different people and learning about the culture even if its minimal as "here we have breakfast this way" and Couchsurfing seems like the right spot for it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like dancing salsa (I'm bad at it tho), cumbia and reggeton (when partying). But I like to listen to rock, rap, and pop music. I know it sounds basic but being honest, I can watch The Dark Night many times, and Kill Bill was one of my favourite movies when I first saw it the violence blew my mind. But I'm more into TV shows, right now I'm binge watching Twin Peaks. I usualy like crime-themed or comedy like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still don't know how I managed to jump from 134 m above the Nevis river in Queenstown. And climbing a mountain in 3 days with no previous experience on that.

I can teach some spanish basics and I want to learn Portuguese.
I also like to learn about History and sports.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm comfortable with deep talks or just causal chit chat, watch sports, walk around and share my favourite spots in Mexico and tips to visit. We can have a drink and I can prepare some Mexican food if we can get the right ingredients at the supermarket.
