About Me

My perfect days are spent writing, reading, designing, and traveling. I love train travel, meeting people and talking over tea. The wittier and more creative the better :)

PHILOSOPHY

Good things happen when you leave the house. But also, staying home can be the best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Doing my part not to spread a deadly respiratory virus. I look forward to hosting again soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the pleasure of staying with hosts on four continents, in a 12+ countries, and am continually amazed by the generosity and kindness of the people I meet.

Interests

I have a wide, ever-growing curiosity about history, music, design, languages, climate change/science, and cooking, to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classical, jazz, a bit of rock, and dash of K-POP

Books: 5 favorite books I’ve read lately:
1. Wild by Cheryl Strayed
2. Around the World in 80 Trains by Monisha Rajesh
3. South of Border, West of the Rising Sun by Haruki Murakami
4. Give People Money by Annie Lowery
5. How Fascism Works by Jason Stanley

Shows: Sherlock, House, Top Chef, Flight of the Chonchords, Impractical Jokers, Top Chef

Food: anything and everything, but I don't do olives or bleu cheese.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I competed in an eleven team race through Europe with my mother. We hauled ass and got 4th place. Not bad considering we started in last.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you to cook, strum a song on the guitar, improve your design skills, and of course, teach you about Minneapolis.

Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, France, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
