I was born in Germany to Italian parents. I am in my gap year after obtaining my PhD right now and will be travelling for at least a year. I think I am a pretty relaxed and open-minded guy and pleasant to be around. I like cultural events just as much as going out. I love to learn and connect with locals and their culture to learn as much as possible about the place I travel in. Oh, and I love animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to connect with locals, learn about the culture and the respective places from their perspctive. I also would like to improve my Spanish. I think that only through the locals you can truly get an impression about the place you visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a specific taste in movies, books or music. I always try to broaden my horizon as much as I can. I tend to like to like Christopher Nolan's films, I have always loved Muse and the books by Kafka and Murakami. But I really don't like to pin down my favorites.
