I'm a 25-year-old guy studying environmental engineering in Aachen, Germany. Whenever I get the chance, I like to travel around discovering places I haven't seen before. Besides studying and traveling, I love to cook, mostly Indian and Arabic. And I never say no to a beer (pretty stereotypical for a German).

Little sidenote for you guys I'm asking right now for a couch: I lived in Haifa for a year already whilst volunteering in a hospital, so I kind of know a lot of places in Israel already. That's quite cool, for me and for hosts like you, since I can work of my to-do-list when you are working, studying or doing your daily rituals. After all, I might be more of a friend on this journey than a tourist who has to be entertained.

I really love a lot of things. I love learning languages, I play guitar, I'm always looking for interesting songs from everywhere and I never say no to a good cup of tea.

My favourite movie - or better: one of the best movies ever made - is Pulp Fiction. I don't think I have to explain why, but in case you haven't seen Pulp Fiction yet: Show me another movie in which you have such an allegedly empty plot giving you nothing but a smile whenever you watch it. Pulp Fiction is the true opposite of chronology and logic. I love a lot movies, so if you want you can always have a hot-blooded discussion about movies with me.

The type of music I like is hard to describe. Even I have problems to describe it. In general, I would say: The more exotic, the better.

Thanks to the German education system that I now love all those classics in German literature (especially Goethe's Faust). In addition to that, I like mangas.

I like to learn and teach languages, no matter which one. Also, I love to learn about nice new guitar grooves. I always wanted to learn how to play West African blues... And if you love tea, I will have some good connections for you to get some very good stuff.
